A plea to faith: when a believers arguments for god are exhausted and refuted, a plea to faith follows. The plea ‘it’s my faith’ is the believers way of admitting defeat: an admission that their beliefs are founded upon unsubstantiated twaddle.

Faith goes with Dogma: That which you’re not supposed to question. “Why can’t you question it” is something that the religious also refuse to address — which is why Thinking and Religiousness are diametrically opposed things.
