“The big challenge before us is to telescope centuries of experience, law, culture and tolerance in the West into a few decades in the rest of the world. Unless we do so, the mixture of religious intolerance and weapons of mass destruction will be a great threat to the world and everyone in it.”

I don’t know, maybe humans ARE a zit that needs popping. Certainly bees or ants, or hell even cockroaches, could evolve to do a better job. At least hymenopterae socialize better than primates.

How do you know that their colonies aren’t constantly at war also? How do you know that they socialize better? Maybe they live under martial law and eat one another.

Are we not still feeling the effects of the poisoning from the mind toxins the USA and the World for that matter received during the Reagan-2bush-eras? The venomous bite from the religious vipers may still be flowing within the arteries of the minds of the power brokers heads. And…, it appears that we still may need to to do a better job flushing out that venom.
However, their power appears to be on the wain once again and although the reason-thieves may currently have the money to keep their unique mind toxin within society; the encouraging bit is that death does come to us all.
