Dinosaurs kind of always put a fubar to their preaching…

far be it from one with my alias to diss the dinosaurs…

  3. The Heretic Says:

They think that dinosaurs are all a hoax. We (conspirators in many countries) have been manufacturing and burying bones for centuries just to thwart them. I wonder what they think about crop circles?

  4. Dan Says:

Of course they think fossils, especially dinosaurs, are a hoax. Or a trick put on by Satan (and therefore, indirectly, their god) to test their faith. The twisted logic that they conceive of to maintain their delusions is shocking.

Here’s what I don’t get about christianity; every christian believes that when something appears that they think is at odd with religious scripture, they interpret it as a test of faith. Hasn’t any christian just stopped and asked themselves “when is god gonna stop testing us?” To them, he is rewarding their passing of his tests with even more tests.

I know that we face an uphill battle for acceptance, but it’s important to remember that not that long ago, other minorities such as African Americans also faced an uphill battle for acceptance, and they triumphed. How is our struggle different?

  7. CaptainZero Says:

What I’d like to know, Chris, is WHY they think god needs to continually test us. And why are the tests always the same? You can’t pass the test unless you can force yourself to believe impossible things in the face of irrefutable evidence. What god would give Her creation our mental capabilities and then REQUIRE us not to use them? This is cruel totalitarianism of the first order. Good thing there’s no reason at all to believe it.

  8. Atheist MC Says:

Dinosaurs? Never heard of them. What I want to know is, where those effin’ seagulls that keep raiding my bins came from…

Here’s your next quote of the day: “The divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity.” John Adams
