    well, maybe it’s ONE of the human Achilles heels.

    i also vote for GREED, SELFISHNESS and SELF-CENTEREDNESS .

    religion IS a major impediment to rational thought.

    I saw Prof Kroto speak once – he was talking about carbon 60 molecules. Very inspiring (well, I am (or used to be) an organic chemist). Good to see his mind is on track with reality in other walks of life!

    A chemist who studies compounds of carbon, as well as being made of them (on this planet, at least).
