“If God and nature are so clear about what marriage is, why do the well-connected have an easier time getting the Catholic church to sunder their marriages with annulments?”

I guess their money’s a bit greener than the less-connected.

The colour of money is definitely at work.

Funny thing is the church never involved itself with marriage and/or its ceremony until the 16th century. Money was indeed the motivator as the church found it rather lucrative to bless everything for a tithe or contribution.

Even today Catholic charities are known for the high operating costs of their charities. It has always been about the money.

That vile animal Mother Teresa used a considerable amount of money on things like bibles instead of condoms. How many babies died?

Wrap up the collection plate in some noble cause and you can whitewash the great con of mankind.

Still today you will find many people, even non religious people, presuming the church has redeeming qualities. People know that the scam is being played but somehow they give some sort of free pass to the church. you know the “few bad apples” line. No one recognizes the church for what it truly is.

Institutionalized pedophilia. The money is the operating expense.

Seems to me you must separate church & god. There is evidence of church after all.
