Religion is the way we infect the future with our ancestors’ errors.

Belief is hard to mold, hard to change. I prefer ideas. Ideas are malleable, they can change and adapt. A fixed set of beliefs anchor a person in the past, in thinking from the past. Ideas are like life, constantly growing.

Religious belief are the worst of belief in that they are tied to the ancient, to people who no longer live, to a lack of modern thinking, oblivious to all that has happened in the last 2,000 years.

Sure the discovery of fire and the wheel mark important advances in ideas, but depending upon a belief system as old as these discoveries is just plain dumb.

Rj, interesting link yesterday. I’ve had no encounters with AA so it was all new information for me.

How do you say it, ‘those pukes make me sick’ ..

Second that reetBob! They are some filthy stinking pukes at that! And believe me I’m trying my best not to put them down.
