    Religion is the belief in ideas that have zero or negative ability to explain what’s going on around us. It’s perverse and dangerous.

    Actually fossilized thought would pertain to pre-religious times. Ancient thought, or thought that stopped a few hundred years BC would be more accurate.

    Remember for the religious it all began 6,000 to 10,000 years ago.
