Even if they didn’t die, why would a God with the usual attributes create something that it would have to pay attention to when they were done? Given the usual omni’s in the species description, wouldn’t the act of creation contain all the given elements for the desired outcome?
Given all the usual omni’s, perhaps the only thing that could present any kind of a challenge to them would be their own destruction. POOF! Or rather, BANG!

Didn’t Asimov write a story called the “The Last Question” that came to the same conclusion with the words “Let there be light”.
