10th July 2012

“When you think about it, our politicians do play god, in the sense that they're not believed in by the vast majority of the public any more, they haven't done anything demonstrably useful for absolutely ages, and they keep employing members of their own family in influential positions. I'm not saying Jesus wasn't the best man for the job, I'm just saying it would have been nice if there had been a little more transparency in the recruitment process.”

Heh, that was mildly amusing ^_^

It also doesn’t exactly speak well of God and his level of maturity to have so predictably put upon humanity his son? A man? Talk about good ole boys.

Just look at Rick Perry – he prays to himself. He has faith and believes that if you fill a stadium full of taxpayers and they all chant in prayer god will make it rain. Texas A.G. Gregg Abbott wants to put prayer back in school… as if it ever left. What he really wants, what they all want is to force everyone to pray and worship as they do in school. They want taxpayer funded indoctrination of all children. They want the right to claim moral superiority when it comes to religions – many of my friends believe they actually had a choice when it comes to their religious beliefs…Does anyone know if Mitt actually wears the magic underwear?

Kittie I don’t think you have been around here long enough to have heard me admit to being a Republican, I am one. A politically progressive atheist Republican along the lines of Susan B. Anthony, Teddy Roosevelt, Abe Lincoln, Frederik Douglas, Jackie Robinson, Dwight Eisenhauer, and the like.

The so-called conservatives, neo-conservative, social conservatives, phony conservatives that dominate the Republican party these days are an embarassment.

Mitt Romney president? This is actually more absurd than Barack Obama as President. The Party has shot itself in the foot. Mitt Romney has zero chance of being elected. For all the talk of defeating President Obama it appears the Republican party, in nominating Mitt Romney, have ensured Presidnt Obama’s re-election.

I think history will record this election as an all time low for the Republican party. Religious idiots have ruined the party much as they did to the Democrat party when they dominated the Democrat party prior to the Civil Rights Act.

These Confederates still exist, they have lost their place in the Democrat party and moved on to hijack the Republican party. They are filthy and vile.

Prayer in school? How about teaching evolutionary biology in church? Make it an even swap?
