A very nice idea, until Muslims outnumber the French in France. Then, secularism in France will be a memory. At the current reproductive rates, Non-Muslim French (1.3 babies per couple) v. Muslim French (4-5 babies per couple) have only a few decades before they will be outnumbered. C’est la vie.

@Heretic- Reproductive and immigration conquering of societies is not new. I don’t know what the successful defenses against it are but would like to become more familiar with the options.

The secular ethos of France seems to work much better for the country than the religious ethos adopted by other countries.
