“Not only do they [Christians] misunderstand the words of the philosophers, they even stoop to assigning words of the philosophers to their Jesus.”

Big surprise. They also co-opted every pagan holiday they could find and made it their own. Most Christians don’t understand that either. It is such an ungenuine religion that it is laughable at best.

The only one they focus on is Halloween. The new uber-christian politically correct crowd has crapped up the funnest holiday ever. I really had a laugh when we were living on post at Ft. Meade, Md and got a flyer inviting us to a “fall festival” it went on to explain that children should not wear witch or devil or goblin type costumes, as those were satanic, but should dress as their favorite bible/religious leader or political figure… talk about scary. Our neighbor, though having grown up trick-or-treating and wearing costumes claimed it was worshipping satan to celebrate Halloween.. This just prompted my husband to do something we had never done before – decorate our yard elaborately for Halloween. As Paris Hilton would say, “that was hot”…

Christianity is pure comedy. The most well researched authorities of Jesus seem to agree he would have been a student of the great philosophers. With, what at the time must have been a fine education, the man would have been considered fairly bright. Somehow in the aftermath of his demise he lost his philosophical education or it became something credited to god. This is retarded!

Christianity is really so very dull and dim witted. I have to believe we’re Jesus to actually return and meet with today’s Christians it would have be like Ronald Reagan returning and meeting with today’s Republicans..Estrangement of an order of magnitude.

Today’s Christians must be what Jesus envisioned in the very worst of his nightmares.
