Absolutely correct!! Fear of death, and refusal to accept the rational process for finding truth are the reasons. I hope all parties (Heretic,etc.) respond to this idea). Thanks.

D, from the other day regardiong Christian Humanists.
Google the term, you personally may find contradiction in the term and that is fine with me, but my point was abbout the great many people who find no such contradiction.

Fear of death? Yes, but also the fear of anything unknown. Religion is based on primitive technologies and understanding. WPJ – I agree with your postulate.
