    Replacing faith with its definition, that reads, “We don’t have ot surrender our [belief in something irregardless of evidence] in ordinary rules of evidence,…”

    So Derbyshire is saying he doesn’t have to stop believing without evidence in evidence?! Come again? I understand what point he’s trying to make, but he falls flat on his face in doing so.

    I think you will find that the “irreligious” are now in a majority. There should be no surrender, we should be on the attack to remove religious privilege.
