    They cannot do so for two simple reasons:

    First, to do so would completely eliminate proselytizing, and thereby make them dependent upon the strength of their message alone.

    Second, one of the primary drives of human beings is to create in-groups and out-groups. To adopt such a code would be against that specific drive.
