    Admirably to the point. The motives of many religious people are related to the feeling they have of always being watched—-eventually to be judged.

    I do wonder whether this observation is by an unattributed author rather than by an unknown author. Could it be the webmaster?

    If it says “anon.” or “unknown” this is truly the case.

    Unfortunately, material on the Internet is often contributed under a pseudonym or using an identity that cannot be confirmed. Books and newspapers are usually better in this respect.
