“In a social milieu that encourages the expression of a variety of opinions on every question that arises, it is important to recognise dissent for what it is, and not to mistake it for a mature contribution to a balanced and wide-ranging debate. It is the truth revealed through Scripture and Tradition and articulated by the Church's Magisterium that sets us free.”

Joseph Alois Ratzinger

Discover your own truths, and lose faith in patriarchal mythologies. Reject the credibility and validity of clerics, shamans, faith healers, gurus, mystics, and spiritual leaders who claim a connection with the supernatural. Reject hypocrisy and old assumptions. Seek evidence-based truth. You do not require a “faith” to be moral, compassionate, tolerant of other beliefs or nonbeliefs. You do not require a deity or religion to to love humanity or have peace of mind. You are not programmed to need religious faith and social acceptance. You are a realistic, independent thinker, truly enlightened and free.

Wow that quote by Pope Benedict XVI is an Orwellian quote if there ever was one!
