Nor has anyone else seen any such proof, no matter how small.
Of course the religious will go on saying that this does not matter.
Their recourse to an untenable belief in empty faith is the one artifice they have—and this is a hugely dishonest and calamitous trick by which joyless priests have always reassured hesitant questioners.

This is proof indeed. Surely, if Mr Edison, the greatest of inventors, still lives on somewhere, he would, by now, have invented a device to enable him to communicate the fact to us. He hasn’t so he isn’t.
