15th October 2008

“Given that 15 of the 19 September 11 hijackers were citizens of Saudi Arabia, no one should dismiss the dangers of religious fanaticism originating there.”

Fanatics are lurking around every corner.
Atheists must come out of the closet and show our numbers.
There is strength in numbers and there are more atheists in the world than anyone could ever imagine. Don’t read these posts in seclusion!! Step up and let the nuts know we won’t stand for their fanaticism.

Start talking about it!!! That’s the first step!!!

  2. Critic Says:

Yes, religious fanaticism in Saudi is bad – and so is their evil government. I don’t know if the fanaticism is a backlash against the government or the government is a result of the fanaticism. But, it is a very sick society as evidenced by the number of executions performed every year.

As for talking about atheism (tho not specifically fundamentalism), here’s someone who talks about it very well (got the link from Pharyngula).

I’m willing to pay an extra dollar or two per gallon for my gas/oil if we would stop buying it from SA. Better yet, government should start taxing their imported oil. A country so rich it can afford to pay 7 million workers (thats 25% of their total population!) to do their work for them while they inundate themselves and their educational system with religous dogma. A country so steeped in suppressive fear masked by more religious dogma, that any MAN who voices an opinion must have money or power, and still risks death if it disagrees with their religion, or their CURRENT interpretations of the Koran.
By the way, do they allow immigrants over there?
I been thinking about a warmer climate.
You could all place bets on how many days I’d last.

    Excellent video.
I shall put it on my webpage as a link

Well said, Atheist Advocate, SPEAK OUT. People do listen, and it’s not hard to win with science.
    We have all the evidence!
I love that part of atheism/science.
They have no leg to stand on.
Back them against the wall with truthes, evidence, and better theories.
