“The formation of public policies should not be determined by, or strongly influenced by, beliefs that we are neither logically nor morally entitled to accept. From this point of view, it becomes clear why the Vatican's declaration about bioethics, ironically, is logically unjustifiable and therefore qualifies as immoral.”

The Vatican’s bioethics document is not only outrageous but I found this statement to be particularly hypocritical.

” While embryonic stem cell research is “a grave moral disorder,” the document notes that parents may make use of a “vaccine which was developed using cell lines of illicit origin” when the health of a child is at stake as long as they voice their disapproval and request alternatives.

Shrimp Scampi is “unclean” but I’ll eat it as long as I first find out that they are out of the swordfish and make a stink about it. WTF?!?
