I love this observation! It suggest a good question for the believer: How would the world look if there was no god? Might it not look exactly like it does? Here’s another: What might the world be like if no one believed in god? Sometimes John Lennon’s song Imagine runs like a sound track in the back of the godless’ mind.

While it’s an accurate thought at face value, far too many invisible things are real. Electricity, uv-light and of course, air to name a few. The average believer would have no problem arguing against this comment. As such, it fails to lend additional credibility for the atheist. We only have so many senses, consequently we cannot see everything ….and both sides are fully aware of it. This comment has no place in a discussion to falsify a higher being/beings.

John Lennon’s song “Imagine” imagines no religion, not “no god.”

Invisibility is dependent on the “instrument” used to see.

I agree with you and HS as an observation of atheistic viewpoint. However, I truly do love imagining there is no religion! What a wonderful place to start!

You keep dreaming my friend, and possibly our descendants will live in a world that is religion free. I’m right there with you!!
