    FYI: As a moderate/liberal/progressive/religio-secular Christian theist (!), I always figured the literal-fundamentalist types had no use for deists, agnostics, or atheists . . . WRONG! Here is a “theologically” sound role for the discerning atheist – check it out:

    All science has to do is figure what causes the human mind to believe in things without evidence. Analyzing “imagination” may be a good first step.
