That’s pretty good coming from George, but I’d wager he really thought that the best thing to come out of religion was the jokes!
I just watched ‘Religion is bullshit’ on youtube for the 15th time, with a bunch of friends last weekend. And it was just as good as the first time.
RIP buddy, I’ll look over the place until I meet my worms too:)
I saw GC for the first time less than a year befor he died. Funniest comic I’d ever seen, bar none. Irreverant until the very end – and lucid. I idolized (pun intended) him as a very young man (played his records late at night after my parents had gone to bed). His ability to verbalize the nonsense of religion is no less than classic. I miss GC and am glad I had the opportunity to see him. If I was stupid I’d say I’ll meet him in heaven, but we all know two things. 1. There is no heaven and 2. Even if there was, I’d meet him in hell!!
Not sure if anyone is going to read this as it’s now yesterdays QOTD but thank you Tony for your post. I watched ‘Religion is bullshit’ on YouTube and it was absolutely hilarious.
