I’m not sure what “most” Jacobson is talking about. Must not be talking about the u.s. where people seem scared not by religion but rather by those not in its thrall. See the previous quote – atheists are, somehow, the most distrusted minority in America. It would, no doubt, surprise most religionistas that there are more atheists in American than Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddists, mormons and jehovahs witnesses combined. And growing with every science class taught.
