OK, I had to look up 'LQTM' and, even then, it took me a few minutes... ...as always, you guys and gals are good for a laugh! Thanks.

Though Butcher complains about herders
and the nonsense that 'round them was girdered
Still his point was not lost
If religion you cross
they are likely to press you with murders.

Some 'good' sciences.
---------------------------
* Computers and the internet that enable christians to setup funding websites and allow islamic militants to swap ideas for dirty bombs.
* Communications technology that keep TV evangelists on the airwaves and the quran on your i-Phone.
* The combustion engine to power the pope-mobile and the chemistry and physics behind the AK-47.

It's funny how some sciences have been embraced and others are just inconvenient to religious beliefs.

Butcher? He'dI would rate the quote with this........Whaaa.....ka...ka..ka....
That goes too with the silly followers of the quote.
Even if god says the universe is 1000 years old I would have believe it.But by god intelligence the Qoran does not mention anything regarding the age of the universe.
Who knows better than god?The ultimate truth of things.Does'nt your lousy corrupted mind could'nt think of other possibility apart from science. So you all think you are too advance by upholding science.Science is just an age old concept of seeing things.Science always changes when new discoveries are made, the old one will be refuted.Does that shows that science is not the ultimate answer. The ultimate answer is in gods knowledge.Even your sight can deceive you.Don't you realize that all images you see now is actually upside down.Don't tell me the brain makes us see upright. Why we did'nt see sideways to the left or to the right instead? Can they explain how the brains did it?The flat earth society might even be right when they say the earth is flat.Do you know that our eyes converge all the objects that we see.If the eye does not work in the way it works now we might not be able to figure out the image of objects, especially big huge ones. You might even unable to figure out the shape of your mates asshole.Thats why you can't find other shapes than only spheres in the universe.Anyway who is this arrogant Neil Butcher. He'd better be in the market selling meat.

Headline News (HLN) reported that a handful of college atheists in Texas are giving their fellow students the option of trading their bible for porn. Their argument? There is more porn in the bible than in the porn they are handing out. It will be interesting to see the student population's reaction.

Self deluded and incredibly arrogant. I think it's been raised before but I wonder how many religious leaders have realised it's all nonsense but carry on regardless?
Not a fan of the quote though. More mass delusion than self.

Yes, NoReflection, self-delusional is a rather polite word to use for these folks.

BTW, do you think you could take your CAPS LOCK off so that your posts are easier to read? No need to shout... :)

Is it just me, or does anyone else here ever feel sorry for atheist goat herders?

Ahhh, I see. But I thought god plunked that "tree of knowledge" down simply to point out that humans are not allowed to learn? You may recall that those two wingnuts Adam and Eve were only supposed to admire the tree, not to eat the crap it bore. Apparently god created us in his own image, but we are forbidden to expand our knowledge. No wonder the clergy hate science! Anyhow it seems rather selfish by any standard. Boy will he be surprised when he gets back from the outhouse to see that we actually managed to walk on another of his celestial bodies, the moon. That should really piss him off. How dare we learn. Well ...that will teach him not to read the paper while launching a bishop.
