“It is shameful that the president of the premier science organisation in America has endorsed a prize for conflating science with religion, indeed, has nominated someone for doing the best job of blurring the boundaries between science and faith. The job of the NAS president is to promote rationality, not pollute it with superstition.”

As PZ Myers pointed out at Pharyngula
The reason is of course that it is religion and it’s America where religion always gets more respect thn it deserves.

And how do you know that about your god Tech? Are you just spouting off, or do you have evidence to back up your comments?

Does your god talk to you? Are your just mouthing what some vested preachers tells you to say and think or are you “hearing voices… again”?

“has made a profound contribution to the science-religion dialogue.” Hogwash! This is a fairy tale. The only “profound” contribution that is possible to the science-religion dialogue is one which totally and utterly separates them. Science is real and religion is imaginary. This is not an opinion. It is, along with gravity and evolution, a “theory” which is irrefutable.
Those who disagree do simply err in their judgment and intellect. I invite anyone who disagrees to step forward with any form of evidence that supports the existence of a god or gods.

Oh, you know those theists with their circular logic. They prove something that is unproveable by stating that one just need to look everywhere and at everything for the proof. Whatever! These people would fail Logic 101.

Science correlates with true religion(there are true and false religion) like a tune of a song, always in harmony. Those who defy it are misguided fools like our friend above. The Evolution theory is a Hoax, can easily & have been refuted. To Hell with Logic 101, it have no significance whatsoever.
