    Not even close, sir. Check out the Torah / Talmud and you’ll see that women and children were nothing more than chattel there, so Saul of Tarsus was just spreading a well established tradition.

    The Torah / Talmud are referred to in Christianity as the Old Testament, sir. I’m so surprised that you didn’t know that as to quote my sophomore World History teacher from HS, who was also a Greek Orthodox Sunday school teacher, “And you call yourself Christians”, except, of course, that you don’t. (You should recognize that World History was taught from a SOMEWHAT Eurocentric standpoint 40 some years ago, which automatically entangled it with Christian history.)
