And every one of these fundamentalist groups that even think about it are traitors to the American constitution.

How so? All the Constitution says is that the state will make no established religion. We are a secular republic. There is no “Church of America”. Further, they have history on their side when it comes to religion being, not practiced, but permeating the traditions of school life. They are technically not doing anything that hasn’t already been ongoing in the last 250 years. Schools are under local control, per the constitution under the 10th amendment. Which means, the local populace should be determining curriculum. Which means also, worry about your local schools and the policies therein, and keep your nose out of other’s affairs. We have become a nation of busy-bodies. Constitutionally, you are the one overstepping. Please understand, I agree that religion should not be a strong presence in schools. However, it needs to be done at a local/state level, not at an authoritarian Federal level. That would be unAmerican. We are not statists. They have no pervue, even though they claim pervue through funding coersions from the Dept. of Education, which should have been dismantled years ago. What a waste of tax payer dollars that one is. But, I digress. The Constitution has no bearing on the topic at hand. There is no “Separation of Church and State” in the Constitution.

@The Heretic, I’m sure you are mistaken on most everything you’ve said but can’t point to the particulars, you should take it up with the AU. No prayer. No school churching. Local idiots do not control curriculum outside of bounds which include church state separation that is in the constitution and it’s intent, any past violations are just that, violations however traditional.
