They burn people for witchcraft there. And the Muslim insurgence is a bloody nightmare. Not on my list of one hundred places to go before you die.

Well here in the US people vote for Republicans and Democrats. Maybe it isn’t “spiritual” per se, but it is mumbo jumbo and all too often rather thoughtless blind faith.

It should be noted that “blind faith, thoughtlessness and spiritual mumbo jumbo” also directly cause “poverty, ignorance, hopelessness and bad governance”. It’s a vicious cycle.
