Not sure where this quote is going. The short response is, “So what? ”
So would the Atheists, the Doughnutters, and the rest.
Who would want to live like a shepherd from 2000 years ago?
Tech? Would you give up your TV? Neither would I.

You will rarely meet a rich Christian who would take a vow of poverty.
A better question for tech, Steve, is whether or not he would give up his belief in God or Jesus if all mankind was at stake.
I know mankind would be safe if it was my call. Tech?
Of course we all know the answer, don’t we? tech would gladly condemn us all to death for his belief, because he believes we would all be judged by his God and dealt with accordingly.

Sollie, I will gladly give up TV for life if you will give up the internet for a year. 😉
Your absence is sorely missed, Sollie. Here I thought you had been away eating doughnuts…

I think this quote has to do with, “helping thy neighbor” If you look at the average standard of living for the planet, then most of us, including christians, are miles beyond the lifestyles of several dozen third world countries. The question is, are christians obligated to sacrifice their standard of living to help those people in need? The bible would seem to imply that they should, yet most do not. It’s the hypocrisy of preaching the good fight, yet coming up short in deeds. Most christians would be far too inconvenienced to ever do something like selling their homes in order to use the cash to feed the needy.

He may have been away but he was here in spirit.

By the way, there was another site with a list of possible ‘other ‘ gods to choose from. They offer a wall poster with some 2000 names.

It is pretty silly, isn’t it?
Maybe they need to charge for each viewing by a christian and send the money to charity.

I know a lot of very wealthy people and most are bible thumpers from hell.
