14th November 2010

“A remarkable culture-shift has taken place around us. The most basic contours of American culture have been radically altered. The so-called Judeo-Christian consensus of the last millennium has given way to a post-modern, post-Christian, post-Western cultural crisis which threatens the very heart of our culture. Clearly, there is a new narrative, a post-Christian narrative, that is animating large portions of this society.”

And it amazes me at how disorganized each sect is, and yet each wants to rule over one another in some unified iron fist (until they realize their differences). Gott mit uns, mein fuhrer!

I really truly can’t keep up with most of these fad ideologies that these Christians toss at me. Just the other day, I had someone say that the laws that Moses laid down, and Jesus fortified, were strictly meant for the Jews of that time, and not for today’s modern society, and therefor everyone is saved from sin, including the blasphemers. My head did a weird “wtf” spin followed by a facepalm. At no point in the Bible does it say the laws were laid for that era of man only… Of course I did tell them to go reread their Bible, and I sure hope they did. There really is no such thing as a Christian anymore. Science and twisted translations are tearing that faith apart and no single church has the same “word”. I hope this is a sign that they are, in fact, weakening and slowly disbanding.
