Not best analogy. At least once a day, we need to use the shit house.
On anlther note. The History channel aired a great series yesterday regarding the origins of the bible. If even a small fraction of it’s history is true, you would have to be a complete fool to follow it.

I agree – not the best quote, and not just for the analogy. There’s no reason to tell your kids to avoid church or religion. Just teach them some basic critical thinking skills, give them a Bible, and encourage them to actually read it. They’ll be atheists alright. The only problems come when you encourage uncritical acceptance of that crap.

Of course they have the key, they are more full of it than most.

You guys are truly amazing. Why do you waste so much time talking about something you don’t believe in.

Tech, as long as there is a portion of our society which believes in fairy tales and is intent on spreading this bullshit as truth, there will be a need for us. You told your kids there wasn’t a Santa Clause, why? We are the voice of reason in the darkest era of our history and we will not be silenced. It’s is beyond time you and your flock grew up and faced reality………………… Your welcome.

I gave my daughter a choice. I took her around to all of the churches around me, had her study them and the books…..she turned into an atheist faster than you could blink.
Worked better than anything.

Tech,
If it’s not worth talking about then why defend it?
