Is God a sexist? Let’s look at the evidence. We find this in 1 Corinthians chapter 14:
As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
On the S&M side of my life, I really like insubordinate women, they’re so much more fun to bring into submission than those who are submissive in the first place, and when they finally do find their sub side, they find it so much more rewarding that they will go much farther for the sensations they’ve come to crave. Of course, since I’m also bi, insubordinate men are fun, too…
Jeff – “bring into submission”… doesn’t sound like something an Alpha / driver personality like myself would really allow…
Thanks RJ
And now for some humor – I really pissed off a “loving christian” on a Huffington Post thread, who wrote something incredibly mean about Steven Hawking… and I wasn’t nasty or mean back – but the funny part is he started addressing his responses to me as “Pussy Galore”… trying to make fun of my name, which appears as Kittie King on the HUFF… Since she was a Bond Girl, and I have been known to be entertained by the 007 series… I was kind of honored, not insulted…
I do think the churches prey on people in times of weakness. I wanted to vomit during a funeral I went to this summer where an evangelical type yahoo got up and went into his lecture sermon on the afterlife.. I was furious – but everyone else seemed comforted… The guy was not a christian either, that was the worse part.

While too often the first and only aid to people in extreme want and despair according to their well oiled propaganda machinery, religion fails to help as it’s primary function is an old con-game. http://web.archive.org/web/20020205054321/www.geocities.com/iconoclastes.geo/con-game.html
