    Many people nowadays are ‘faith in name only’. You ask them if they believe in a god and their automatic answer is yes. But, they don’t attend church, nor do they follow any of the teachings. Chances are they have never read the associated religious book, or at least not since they were children. From this point, it is easy to see why their children would dismiss the faith out of hand.
